San Diego Literary Gala

The San Diego Literary Gala is the Multicultural LGBT Literary Foundation’s high-end arts fundraiser that recognizes, celebrates, and furthers the work of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender authors and artists.

The Gala takes place every November in commemoration of the organization’s founding. It is a San Diego premier literary event and raises critical funds for the Foundation’s general operating expenses, as well as its many programs.

Each year the San Diego Literary Gala is organized around a well-known author or a theme that has relevance for LGBT communities. Guests can count on the best and brightest LGBT authors being enlisted to read and speak at the Gala and have the unique privilege of spending intimate time with these amazing artists.

The San Diego Literary Gala features fabulous cuisine, with an open bar, but is so much more than just a wonderful party. The event is a time for the LGBT community, communities of color, and the artistic community, to join together in an effort to learn about diverse experiences, support marginalized voices, and honor the power of the written word. Be sure to join us for this year’s gala and add your support to this fantastic event.
